What oilfield and industrial sites do you serve?
Jack Rental Works serves drilling pads, frac spreads, pipeline right-of-way crews, compressor stations, pipe yards and plants across the Permian Basin. Our yard sits at 3308 Henderson St in Midland. Leases within about 50 miles get same-day delivery when you order by noon, Monday through Saturday. Farther leases are next-day or scheduled.
| Site type | Typical setup | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Drilling pad | 2–4 standard units + 1 handwash station | Crews on 12-hour shifts use units hard; ask about twice-weekly service. |
| Frac spread | Rows of standard units, sized by headcount | Headcount jumps fast; we add units on short notice. |
| Pipeline right-of-way | Towable trailer unit per crew | Crew pulls the unit forward; texts us the new pin. |
| Compressor station | 1–2 standard units | Small crews, long stays; often a steady 28-day rental. |
| Pipe or equipment yard | Standard units + handwash station | East-side Midland yards and I-20 frontage sites. |
| Plant or shop | Units sized to OSHA 1910.141 | Covers outages, turnarounds and shops without enough restrooms. |
The setups above are common starting points, not rules. We size every site to your headcount and shift length.
Which OSHA rule applies: 1910.141 or 1926.51?
OSHA 1910.141 covers general industry, like permanent yards, plants and shops. OSHA 1926.51 covers construction work, like building a pad, laying pipe or putting up a facility. Under 1910.141 Table J-1, 1–15 employees need 1 toilet and 16–35 need 2. Under 1926.51 Table D-1, 20 or fewer workers need 1 toilet.
| Employees | 1910.141 Table J-1 (general industry) | 1926.51 Table D-1 (construction) | Our recommendation, weekly service |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–15 | 1 | 1 | 1 per 10 workers (1–2 units) |
| 16–35 | 2 | 1 up to 20; then 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 | 2–4 units |
| 36–55 | 3 | 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 | 4–6 units |
| 56–80 | 4 | 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 | 6–8 units |
| 81–110 | 5 | 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 | 9–11 units |
| 111–150 | 6 | 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 | 12–15 units |
| Over 150 | 1 more per each extra 40 employees | 200+: 1 seat + 1 urinal per 50 | 1 per 10 workers |
Building sites in town follow the same 1926.51 table. Our construction site toilets page covers builders and remodelers.

How do you find a pad on a lease road with no address?
We find a pad with no address from a GPS pin or a lease name plus gate directions. Send any gate code, lock combination and notes on cattle guards or soft caliche. Our driver calls or texts 30–60 minutes before arrival. There is no lease-road surcharge unless a 4x4 tow is needed to reach the pad.
- Send the pin. Drop a GPS pin on the exact spot, not the lease entrance. A screenshot works too.
- Name the lease. Give the lease or well name and the operator, so the driver can match the sign.
- Share gate codes. Text the code or combo for each locked gate on the route.
- Flag the hazards. Tell us about washouts, low lines, cattle guards or a soft spot after rain.
- Name a site contact. Give a company man or foreman number for the driver to call.

Where should a porta potty go near a wellhead or H2S muster point?
A porta potty near a wellhead should go where your site safety plan says, which is usually upwind and well away from the wellhead. Keep the unit off the path to the H2S muster point and out of the truck lane. A worker inside 1 closed unit may not hear or see an alarm, so distance matters.
- Check the wind sock and the prevailing wind; Midland spring gusts often top 40 mph.
- Keep the door facing the muster point route so the exit is clear.
- Leave room for our service truck to reach the unit without crossing hot zones.
- Every unit is staked or strapped so wind does not move it toward equipment.
What is a towable job-site trailer unit?
A towable job-site trailer unit is a standard porta potty mounted on a small tow trailer. Pipeline, fence and road crews hitch the unit and pull it along as the work moves. The towable unit starts at $295 per 28-day cycle, pre-tax. Weekly service happens wherever the crew is working that week.
| Industrial unit | 28-day cycle, starting at, pre-tax | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Standard porta potty | $155 | Pads, yards, compressor stations |
| Towable job-site trailer unit | $295 | Pipeline ROW, fence lines, road jobs |
| Hand-washing station (2-sink) | $125 | Lunch areas, chemical handling |
| Wheelchair-accessible unit | $215 | Plants and offices with public visitors |
| Twice-weekly service | +$60 per cycle per unit | 12-hour shifts and summer crews of 10+ |
The standard porta potty has a 60-gallon tank rated at about 200 uses between services. Crews on 12-hour shifts in 100°F heat reach that faster.
Can you service several sites across the Permian on one account?
Jack Rental Works can service several sites on 1 company account. We build each lease into a weekly route across our 4 delivery zones. Zones 1 and 2 cover Midland, Odessa, Andrews, Stanton and Monahans. Zone 3 reaches Pecos, Kermit, Crane, Rankin, Hobbs and Lovington. Zone 4 covers farther sites with 1–2 days' notice.
| Zone | Example towns | Delivery timing | 28-day trip charge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Midland, Odessa, Greenwood, Gardendale, West Odessa | Same day if ordered by noon | $65 one time |
| Zone 2 (~50 mi) | Stanton, Andrews, Big Spring, Garden City, Notrees, Goldsmith, Penwell, Monahans | Same day if ordered by noon | $95 one time |
| Zone 3 (~50–110 mi) | Pecos, Kermit, Crane, Rankin, Lamesa, Seminole, Hobbs NM, Lovington NM | Next day standard | +$95 per trip |
| Zone 4 (110+ mi) | San Angelo, Ozona, Carlsbad NM | 1–2 days' notice | Quoted by mileage |
Billing to a company account
We bill each site as its own line, so a lease or AFE can be coded right. If your accounts payable team needs a PO or job number, give it to us when you order. Companies can apply for Net-30; after approval we invoice instead of charging a card.
Housing crews near the pad? Our RV and man camp restroom page covers workforce housing. Need units for a short frac job instead? See short-term and same-day rentals.

More questions about Oilfield & Industrial Porta Potty Rental in the Permian Basin
Do you have a unit on a trailer we can move along the job?
Yes. Our towable job-site trailer unit is a standard stall mounted on a small tow trailer. Pipeline and fence crews hitch it and pull it forward as the work moves. It starts at $295 per 28-day cycle, pre-tax, with weekly service where the crew is working that week. Text us the new pin when you move it.
Can you deliver to a lease with no street address? Can I send a pin?
Yes. Send a GPS pin or the lease name with gate directions. Add any gate code or lock combination and note cattle guards or soft spots on the caliche road. Our driver calls or texts 30–60 minutes before arrival. You do not need to be on the pad if the spot is marked or pinned.
Is there an extra charge for lease roads?
No. There is no lease-road surcharge. The only extra cost is if a 4x4 tow is needed to reach the pad, and we tell you before we run it. Trip charges follow our zones: one-time $65 in the Midland–Odessa metro and $95 in Zone 2 on 28-day rentals. Zone 3 is $95 per trip, and Zone 4 is quoted by mileage.
Can you service the next site in another town next month?
Yes. When a rig or crew moves, call or text the new lease and date. We pull the units from the old pad and set them at the new one, or we add the new site to our route. Each site gets its own line on the invoice so your accounting team can code it.
What does OSHA require for toilets at a compressor station or yard?
A permanent yard, shop or plant generally falls under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.141, the general industry rule. Table J-1 calls for 1 toilet for 1–15 employees and 2 for 16–35. Construction work on the same site falls under 1926.51. Confirm with your safety manager — this is not legal advice.
Can we get invoiced on Net-30 instead of using a card?
Yes, after approval. Companies and contractors can apply for a Net-30 account. Until then, the first 28-day cycle is paid at delivery by card or ACH and later cycles auto-bill every 28 days. There is no deposit, no fuel surcharge and no card fee.
Where should the toilet go relative to the wellhead and the H2S muster point?
Follow your site safety plan. Most plans want toilets upwind of the wellhead and well away from it, so a worker is not caught inside during an H2S alarm. Keep the unit clear of the muster point path and the truck lane. Tell our driver the spot, or mark it with a cone or flag.
